Miguel Diaz, re-elected president of the RFET
Third consecutive term of office of the Madrid leader

Miguel Díaz Román has been re-elected, without the need to convene the RFET General Assembly, as the maximum leader of Spanish Tennis for the third consecutive term. "I want to thank everyone for the unanimous support I have received. I believe that beyond the undoubted achievements of stability and prosperity, the most important thing is that we have managed to get everyone pussing in the same direction: the best for our Tennis".

Díaz Román was elected president of the RFET for the first time in July 2016, before that he was president of the Madrid Tennis Federation (FTM, 2009-2016) and of the International Tennis Club for 8 years. Since his arrival in office, the professional tournament structure of the so-called "Pyramid" (350 international events) has been consolidated, which continues to ensure that our players can compete in Spain at all levels of the professional level.

In addition, under his mandate, the RFET has achieved the first headquarters owned by the RFET in the more than 100 years of history of the entity. "We want to deepen the economic stability of the RFET in order to consolidate our professional calendar. And of course we will not stop looking at the market to achieve our own tournament on the ATP and WTA calendar."
